Background

Plantix is a mobile crop advisory app created mainly for the small-scale farmers in India. It uses AI camera to diagnose crop diseases in seconds and then connect the farmers to their local retailers, where they can purchase the best treatments for their sick crop. By catching the disease early, farmers can drastically save their yield and make a living from the harvest.

Our Style

In addition to interviewing donors and experts, we also sent out a survey and received 60 responses. To gain more qualitative insights on the topic, we designed a VIP themed Cultural Probe for 6 individual donors to fill out.
